Advance Notice - Service Maintenance

Hi all,
In our ongoing work to make Sky Player the best possible Video On Demand service, we have to undertake some necessary maintenance work in the early hours of tomorrow morning - Tuesday 24th November 2009.
From midnight tonight until 02.30 anyone registering for the first time on Sky Player will be unable to login until this work has been completed.
Those users already logged in will be able to use the service as normal and should experience no disruption....

We're pleased to announce that we've added two new channels to the Live TV section - Crime and Investigation and British Eurosport 2.
We hope to launch some new live channels this side of Christmas.

Hi all,
Since experiencing technical issues arising from last week's unprecedented demand for the service, we have been implementing a gradual rollout of Sky Player on Xbox 360. As of today, 100% of the Xbox base can access Sky Player, and tens of thousands of new users are accessing the service daily.
The quality of the service remains of the utmost importance to both Sky and Xbox, and as such we will run further testing over the weekend and continue to monitor the service closely....

As you may know, we have been experiencing some technical issues with the Sky Player on Xbox 360 since launch last Tuesday morning. It is important to both Sky and Xbox that we give customers as much information as possible about why the service is not currently available to everyone, and when we expect this to be resolved.
As we said last week, some customers have been unable to experience full use of the service due to the initial demand for the service at launch,...

At the UK launch of Windows 7, Microsoft today announced a major partnership with Sky to add Sky Player, Sky’s online TV service, to Windows Media Center in Windows 7, creating a new and exciting way to watch live and on-demand TV from Sky on a PC.
